Our training products are used in over 9,600 departments in 43 countries. The twelve-year-old company has produced over 30 classes recognized in 39 states for in-service training.

Through our unique relationship with North Idaho College, students can earn up to 17 college credits of 200-level law enforcement courses. These college credits are transferable to the college of your choice.

Developed in 1997 by Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, businesswoman Yvonne Ellis, our company has always maintained the goal of providing law enforcement with the most useful tools, information, and training tactics available. The Backup Training Corporation has produced anti-terrorism training classes for the International Narcotics Interdiction Association (INIA). We have also produced custom products for numerous other groups including Armor Holdings, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and Idaho State University (ISU) to name a few.
